我本科在美国读的摄影，我们专业乃至整个学校其实都是女生人数更多一点，加上阿美的政治正确，所以从来没有体会到什么性别歧视。后来因为疫情休学了一段时间，回国报了一个商业摄影的班。结果上课第一天教课的老师就说你们报班的女生考虑好自己是不是真的想学摄影，这个行业没有你们想得那么光鲜亮丽其实很辛苦很累。我当场就和老师吵起来了指责他性别歧视。后来回家跟我妈说起来我还气得大哭，那是我第一次碰到如此直白不隐晦的性别歧视。我始终不后悔那次大声说出来我的抗议。

I studied photography in the United States as an undergraduate, and there were actually more females in our major and even in the whole college. Moreover, thanks to the political correctness in the US, I never experienced any sexism. Later, I took a break from college because of the epidemic and enrolled in a commercial photography class in China. However, on the first day of class, the male teacher said, “You girls who are enrolled in the class should consider whether you really want to learn photography, this industry is not as glamorous as you think, in fact, it is very tough and tiring”. I argued with the teacher immediately, accusing him of sexism. Later, I went home and told my mom that I was so angry and cried. That was the first time I encountered such straightforward and unsubtle sexism. I have never regretted speaking up and voicing my protest.
